To develop highly qualified professional manpower the basic requirement lies on systematic, rigorous, and value based coaching and training in advanced science and modern technologies. It is also equally important that while gaining professional skills one should get trained enough to thrust his professional potentiality into the system he trained for. To achieve excellence in professional education and to make this as a tool for  social  change  for  the  betterment  of  the  society,  PDMIT  successfully accomplished an eco-friendly campus environment enriched with all required amenities  for  teaching  and  learning  with  quality  based  and  controlled methodology. This extraordinary intellectual, physical, academic, emotional and physical growth environment and other ample opportunities will definitely drive an ambition to great success.Classrooms & Audio-Visual Facilities All classrooms have OHP for presentations. The classrooms are well equipped with audio facilities like sound systems.
 

Library 

               The  PDIMT  International  Fire  and  Safety  Engineering  Library  is  a  treasure house of knowledge and information. The institution has an independent library, which has over 1,000 books on various aspects of management and Fire and Industrial  Safety  Engineering.  In  addition,  the  library  boasts  of  around  415 Indian & International Journals (5990 Online Journals) and a varied collecti on of non-book material in the form of Audio, Video Cassettes, CD-ROMs and 9 Online Databases. The Library is fully automated with barcode system, which helps the readers to access the information readily.
 

Scholarship Schemes

                PDIMT  has  established  the  following  schemes  for  the  benefited  student  of Odisha studying in Advance diploma and PG  diploma courses from the coming academic session.

1.  Merit scholarship for all categories

2.  Scholarship for other weaker section of the society.
 

Training and Placement Cell :

             Training and placement cell is an integral part of the Institution. PDIMT has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps a closed liaison with the industrial sector and reputed firms and invites senior and  experienced  HR  personnel  from  various  industrial  houses  for  close interface and campus requirement. The cell is sensitized to function all through the  year  towards  generating  placement  and  training  opportunities  for  the students.  Reputed  industrial  houses  across  the  country  visit  the  university regularly  for  the  campus  recruitment  programmes.  The  placement  cell coordinates quite well with the cooperate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with all industries and also prepares the candidates to face the competitive world.
