This course is running to gain the confidence to effectively audit an EMS in accordance with internationally recognized best practice techniques. You’ll grasp the key principles and practices of effective EMS audits in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 19011 “Guidelines for auditing management systems”. Using a step-by-step approach, you’ll be guided through the entire audit process from initiation to follow-up. Over 5 days, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful environmental management systems audit. Learn to describe the purpose of an ISO 14001:2015 EMS audit and how to satisfy third-party certification. You’ll acquire the skills to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an EMS audit that establishes conformity and enhances environmental performance.

• To understand the requirements of Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001:2015.
• To understand Context of the organisation, Risk & opportunities, Life Cycle Assessment, Protection of Environment, Role of Top Management as a Leader.
• To develop documentation system; evolve operational control procedures/ emergency response plan.
• On completion of the course, the participant will be able to carry out Third Party Audit.

PREQUISITE:

Additionally, they are also required to have an awareness on environmental aspects with due consideration to emissions into air and water, consumption of energy, release onto land, use of raw materials and natural resources
• Knowledge of English is essential

All those who require detailed knowledge of EMS auditing processes are welcome: Prospective EMS auditors, management system consultants, relevant level of management who are involved in ISO 14001:2015 implementation and maintenance, personnel working with regulatory authorities.

The number of delegates is limited to max. 20 people.

 

 DELIVERY METHODOLOGY: Face to Face

 DURATION: Five days with concluding examination

 

 LOCATION: Business hotels, training centers or customers’ premises if required

Successful completion of the course (continuous assessments and examination) will result in the issue of a certificate, which may be used to support an application to become registered as an auditor. In case of fail result of the examination, delegates have the right of a resit examination within 12 month of the last day of the course.

Being certified as an auditor is a clear statement that you are a recognized, qualified and capable auditing professional.
